PreK PLUS Program
(M, W, F until 2:00 p.m.)
PreK PLUS is an afternoon enrichment program designed to extend the day of the PreK-4 year old child for kindergarten enrichment, cooperative learning, physical activity and creative exploration. Our goals are to promote academic stimulation, cooperation, respect and responsibility while reinforcing the skills necessary for success in kindergarten. A variety of fun enrichment activities including our famous PASSPORTS program will be used to help prepare the children for Kindergarten.

Skill Building Activities:
- SCIENCE … observation, sensory awareness, classification, respect for nature and experimentation
- MATH … counting, matching, symmetry, sets, sorting, charting, graphing, patterning, sequencing, measurement and problem solving
- SOCIAL STUDIES … feelings & emotions, exploration of self & families, members of community, Passports program
- CREATIVE DRAMATICS … dramatization of stories, puppetry, fantasy and pretend play
- PHYSICAL EDUCATION … playground, gym time, games, spatial awareness, exercise, teamwork and good sportsmanship
Program information:
- Our PreK PLUS program will extend a busy morning of play/work with a balanced, fun-filled approach to a longer day.
- PreK PLUS will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons until 2:00 p.m. Program will begin in mid-September.
- Cost of this afternoon enrichment program is listed on the enrollment form and is an additional monthly fee added to your tuition.
- If interested in enrolling, check on PreK PLUS under the Add-On afternoon options on the enrollment form.
- Class size is limited. Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
